Provide essential maintenance and repairs across the water and gas industry
Due to continued growth, we have a number of opportunities for enthusiastic, hard-working Mechanical Fitters to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical installation of pipework and equipment found on water and water treatment sites, they should have a strong understanding of working to installation drawings and be able to overcome general problems that come up when installing equipment on site.
The key responsibilities involve:
- Setting to technical drawings
- Welding & fabrication site activities as required
- Operating site-specific power tools and equipment
- Adherence to Health and Safety protocols
- Following instruction from Site Supervisors and Contract Managers
Essential Qualifications:
- CSCS Card (Labourer minimum requirement)
- Mechanical Qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience working on water utilities sites
- Coded Welder Qualifications to BS EN 1090 or equivalent
- Confined Spaces Certification
- CPCS/NPORS Tickets
- Any other site related qualifications/tickets e.g. IPAF, PASMA, Compex
Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent punctuality and professionalism
- Demonstrate hard working and ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to work well within a team
- Demonstrate use of initiative
Package:
